    6. Cao+H2o=Ca(OH)2+heat is produced
      And this is a chemical reaction characterised by change in temperature.

    1. CaO reacts with water to form Ca(OH)2 which is limewater. we apply it on walls and it reacts with atmospheric CO2 to give CaCO3 and water. the water evaporates leaving behind the calcium carbonate which is white in colour and whitewashes the walls.

  13. When cao dissolved in water it become cao + h20 ---> ca(oh)2. Then this ca(oh)2 is applied on wall then it react with co2 in air to form caco3.
    Ca(oh)2 + co2 ---> caco3.
